SOCIAL South City
Kolkata, India
10,000 s.ft.
A bold and experiential intervention designed to challenge conventional notions of retail and hospitality, the space oscillates between immersive zones and minimalist areas, creating a dynamic rhythm that keeps visitors engaged.
Large-scale titantron, unconventional material choices, and an adaptive furniture system contribute to a setting that is in constant evolution. The design blurs the boundaries between commerce and experience, where customers are not just passive consumers but active participants in shaping their environment. Statement lighting, unexpected spatial transitions, and modular elements ensure that the space remains adaptable to various functions—whether for dining, social gatherings, or creative events.
By questioning traditional retail formats, this SOCIAL outpost becomes an experimental playground where design, culture, and community intersect.
